Section 8 non-profit

Jalna First Citizen Forum (JFCF) is a Section 8 non-profit formed by like-minded citizens and entrepreneurs working together for Jalna's inclusive, long-term progress.

The Forum connects citizen priorities, professional expertise and public institutions to move practical ideas forward. Its work is organised across five focused verticals that strengthen everyday life while preparing Jalna for future growth.

City Infrastructure

Helping shape a cleaner, safer and better-connected Jalna with stronger public infrastructure and a better everyday quality of life.

Better roads, drainage, street lighting and pedestrian infrastructure.
Cleaner neighbourhoods, scientific waste management and sustainable water use.
Citizen feedback and data translated into practical work with the administration.

Advocate for safer roads, drainage, sewerage, street lighting and pedestrian infrastructure.
Promote cleaner neighbourhoods, scientific waste management, water conservation and greener public spaces.
Use citizen feedback and data to work with the administration on practical, planned solutions.

Strengthen roads, power, water, drainage and other essential services in industrial areas.
Build on the MMLP, Samruddhi Mahamarg and regional connectivity to improve logistics and market access.
Encourage new investment, greener manufacturing and industry-linked skills for local employment.

Support stronger learning environments, educational resources and technology-enabled teaching.
Expand career guidance, mentorship and exposure to STEM, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Connect vocational learning, internships and scholarships with emerging opportunities for Jalna's youth.

Support stronger public-health facilities and better access for underserved communities.
Promote screenings and preventive awareness around nutrition, hygiene, maternal health and lifestyle-related disease.
Improve coordination for emergency response, ambulances, blood banks, trauma care and public-health preparedness.

Improve access to playgrounds, sporting facilities, coaching, equipment and fitness support.
Create pathways through leagues, talent hunts, scholarships, sponsorships and competitive events.
Encourage inclusive participation and partnerships among athletes, schools, coaches, industry and government.
